Riding elephants bareback with her son through the jungles of Thailand was "a thrill of a lifetime!"

Spend 10 minutes with Melinda Morgan Kartsonis and you'll realize why Morgan Marketing has achieved the success it enjoys today. Sitting at the helm, she leads the charge in building an agency that fosters creativity, communication and energy. From her personal design of the open offices, to the cheerleader roles she takes with her staff to her hands-on approach in creativity, it's no wonder why she is viewed as passionate, encouraging and straight forward.

Beginning more than 25 years ago working for a prestigious Michigan Avenue PR firm in Chicago, she spent the 1980s honing her craft working for various agencies. Melinda moved on to open Morgan Marketing & PR in 1991. Combining her attention to detail, her ability to develop relationships and her aggressive, results-oriented approach to marketing communications she has quickly built a client roster to be proud of.

Melinda has always been very active in the community, with an impressive list of board or committee positions for organizations such as City of Hope, St. Joseph Hospital, Orange County Performing Arts Center Business Partnership Alliance, California Restaurant Association of Orange County, American Institute of Wine and Food, the American Cancer Society Corporate Advisory Council, Women's Foodservice Forum and Les Dames d' Escoffier International. To share her passion for the PR industry, she has also been a faculty member at University of California at Irvine, Chapman University, California State University Fullerton, and California State University Long Beach, and she's served with the Orange County Public Relations Society of America.

She's received the Public Relations Society of America Distinguished Service Award, been included with Orange Coast magazine's “Hot 11” in its Power of PR issue, and been named the Orange County's Business Journal's “Top Businesswoman” – many times. She has also received awards from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Orange County's Finest) and American Lung Association (Volunteer of the Year).

So what makes Melinda tick? She requires Think Tank time- quiet time alone behind the wheel of her car formulating the next big splash.
